Teachers in the US are using the Internet to fight back over anonymous student reviews posted on the web.
The rising trend of student evaluations of teachers has prompted a backlash. A professor at a US east coast liberal arts college has started a website called teachersfightback.com to let teachers have their say.
Last year Daniel Curzon Brown and Jesse Wall, professors at the City College of San Francisco, sued the operator of teacherreview.com for defamation. The suit failed, but Brown has welcomed the opportunity that teachersfightback.com offers teachers who feel wronged by slating student reviews.
