Eight people arrested in connection with the death of a man in Dublin on Sunday night have been released from Garda custody.
Four men and four women were detained after a man in his 30s, named locally as Kevin Kenny, died after being attacked near a nightclub on Sarsfield Road in Ballyfermot.
They were all aged in their 20s and 30s and held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at various Garda stations in west Dublin.
Six of those arrested were released from custody last night and the other two were freed early this morning.

The victim was taken to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.
A Garda spokesman said the investigation was ongoing.
