Bangkok - An EU delegation visiting Myanmar later this month hopes to meet the opposition leader, Ms Aung San Suu Kyi, to hear her views on plans for a landmark dialogue with the military regime.

The delegation is to arrive in Yangon on January 29th for a three-day visit. While Ms Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy has welcomed the talks, the opposition leader has been under house arrest since September 22nd.
