Hundreds of people gathered at Cork Airport this afternoon to welcome home the five members of the Irish Everest team who completed an expedition to the summit nearly two weeks ago.

The group left Kathmandu yesterday and arrived in Cork Airport this afternoon, three months after their epic journey began.
