An elderly woman who was one of two sisters evicted from their home of 80 years last week was in hospital in Dublin last night after suffering a heart attack.

Ms Eileen Blackall (87) was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital yesterday afternoon. She had been living with a cousin since she and her sister, Rose (81), were evicted from the property in Blackrock, Co Dublin, on October 19th.

The eviction followed a seven-year legal battle over two wills made by the Blackalls' mother, the second of which directed that the house be sold and the proceeds divided between the family members.
