A FORMER null and a homeless man appeared in court together yesterday charged with the rape of a 12 year old girl in a children's home.
The 46 year old man is accused of rape and unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl in Co Waterford during January, 1990.
The 49 year old woman, a former mother superior, is also accused of rape during the same incident.
The woman is on independent bail of £800 while the man is currently in custody with consent to bail of £1,500.

The two will next appear together in the Dublin District Court on June 11th for service of the book of evidence.
