An explosion has been reported at a high-rise building in the flashpoint town of Mitrovica in Kosovo today.
Nato troops have evacuated the building's occupants.
Smoke billowed from windows in the high-rise building, populated mainly by Albanians but located in the Serb-dominated northern part of the ethnically-divided town. French NATO soldiers carried out two elderly people.
There was no immediate information on what had caused the blast.
