Fifteen people were injured today when a grenade exploded near the legislature building in Indian-Kashmir, where 38 people died in a suicide bomb attack earlier this month, police said.
The grenade was meant for a police patrol, but missed its target and landed on the roadside just metres from the legislature, they said.
Two of the wounded were in a serious condition.
On October 1, militants attacked the building, which is in the centre of Srinagar, Kashmir's summer capital.
