Judgment on an application for the extradition to Northern Ireland of a Maze prison escaper was adjourned for a week yesterday after the Dublin District Court was told that Judge Peter Smithwick was not available.

Mr Anthony Kelly (36), a native of Derry, with an address at Glenard Park, Letterkenny, Co Donegal, was remanded on continuing bail of £40,000 until November 27th.

Mr Kelly, who escaped from the Maze in the mass break-out by 38 IRA prisoners in September, 1983 is wanted in Northern Ireland for the murder of Reserve RUC Officer David Stanley Wray in Derry on May 20th, 1979.
