RACING:This afternoon's meeting at Fairyhouse has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track.
Officials at the Meath venue were left with no choice but to draw stumps after another night of heavy rain.
Cliff Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer, said: “There was a good drop of rain overnight, unfortunately, and the meeting is off.
“I’m sure they’ll probably try to get the meeting rescheduled next week.”
