Gardai and Iarnrod Eireann staff were searching a stretch of the railway line about two miles south of Templemore, Co Tipperary, early this morning following a report that a person had fallen from the Cork-bound train.
the train was held up at the scene for about 45 minutes after the incident which happened around 10.30 p.m. last night. It then continues to Cork.
