Fighting between Paris St Germain and Galatasary fans and a pitch invasion by two Galatasaray supporters forced the referee to halt tonight’s Champions League match on Paris.

Fighting began between rival groups of fans early in the second half and the two fans then ran onto the pitch, forcing Portuguese referee Vitor Manuel Melo Pereira to hold up play until order was restored. Paris St Germain led 2-0 when play was halted.
