An 18-year-old student was electrocuted while having a shower in his Templeogue home, Dublin City Coroner's Court heard yesterday.

Mr Austin Bishop jnr was found collapsed in the bathroom of the family home at Orwell Park View by his sister at about 1 p.m. on June 4th.

A post-mortem examination at St James' Hospital showed that death was due to electrocution. An electrical expert identified a faulty connection in the dual immersion system serving the shower as the cause of the accident. The jury returned a verdict of accidental death.
