Ralph Firman expects to make his first Formula One start in three races after coming through private testing for Sunday's U.S. Grand Prix without problems.
The Jordan driver, who missed the Hungarian and Italian races after a big crash in practice at the Hungaroring in August, completed 46 laps at an overcast Indianapolis today..
Firman had complained of suffering dizziness in the car due to an inner ear problem. "I feel fine. I hope the problem doesn't come back overnight but I don't think it will," he said.
Jordan had three cars on the track, with Sweden's Formula 3000 champion Bjorn Wirdheim partnering Italian Giancarlo Fisichella and Firman. Fisichella managed just 17 laps after being sidelined by gearbox problems.
