Wexford hurling has been dealt a massive blow with the news that goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry is to emigrate.

The former All-Star intends to live in Australia for the next year, reports today claim.

It is believed Fitzhenry - regard among the best keepers in the country - will depart within a few weeks.

Wexford boss John Conran is also set to lose Darren Stamp who is also travelling Down Under, but for a shorter period, and will miss next spring's National League campaign.
