Five people are to appear in court in Co Down this morning charged in relation with a man's kidnapping in Warrenpoint on Monday.
The three women and two men, aged between 17 and 35, were arrested after the man was freed on Tuesday.
He was abducted on Monday night and a ransom demanded. A sum of money was handed over but in follow-up searches a number of people were arrested and the money recovered.
Four are to be charged with kidnapping and related offences and one person with withholding information, a PSNI spokeswoman said. Another person remains in custody, she added.
The five will appear in Banbridge court at 10.30 a.m.
