Five people arrested following the stabbing of a man in south Belfast early today have been released without charge.

Five people arrested following the stabbing of a man in south Belfast early today have been released without charge.

The four men and a woman were detained after a 45-year-old was taken to hospital with a stab wound to the head after an attack in Camden Street.

The man's injuries, at first thought to be serious, later proved not to be so. It is understood the injured man has withdrawn a complaint he made to police.
