Five injured after cars collide in Dublin city

Five people were brought to hospital following a two-car collision in Dublin city centre last night.

Five people were brought to hospital following a two-car collision in Dublin city centre last night.

It is understood the collision happened on Townsend Street at around 9.30pm.

The injured were taken to St James's Hospital and are not thought to be seriously injured.

One person - understood to be a juvenile - was arrested at the scene. He has since been released.
