Four directors named to Aer Lingus board

Transport Minister Martin Cullen has appointed four new directors to the board of Aer Lingus.

Transport Minister Martin Cullen has appointed four new directors to the board of Aer Lingus.

The finance director, Greg O'Sullivan, has been appointed an executive director. Mr O'Sullivan is a chartered accountant. He joined Aer Lingus as group financial controller in 1997 and was appointed finance director in March 2006.

Thomas J. Moran has also been appointed as non-executive director. Mr Moran has been president of Mutual of America since 1992 and was named chief executive in 1994.

Also appointed as a non-executive director is Danuta Gray, chief executive of O2 Ireland. The final appointee is Michael Johns, who represents the employee share ownership trust (ESOT) of the airline.
