Four killed in road accidents replace all

A man aged 26 and a two-year-old boy were killed in a road accident in Co Clare yesterday

A man aged 26 and a two-year-old boy were killed in a road accident in Co Clare yesterday. Both were from Galway and travelling in the same car, which was involved in a collision with two vans. Three women were injured, including a pregnant woman said to be comfortable in Ennis General Hospital. The accident happened on the Gort road.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged woman was killed when her car collided with another vehicle at Drumkeen near Ballybofey, Co Donegal, yesterday. She was Ms Ann Marie Sweeney, from Curraghmongan, in Ballybofey. In Dublin, a motorcycle pillion passenger, Mr Peter Hancock (19), was killed when the driver lost control and hit a tree at Woodbine Road, Raheny, early yesterday.
