Four men were questioned last night about the murder of a loyalist paramilitary in Belfast. The men, all from the city, were detained by police officers investigating the death of George Legge (37), a senior member of the Ulster Defence Association. His body was found in a field at Carryduff on the outskirts of Belfast last January. Police believe he was tortured and then shot in a dispute over money. His throat had been cut and his body was covered in slash wounds.
The four men were later released.
