Gardai appeal for help over missing persons

Gardaí at Carrick-On-Shannon, Co Leitrim are seeking assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 40-year-old man.

Gardaí at Carrick-On-Shannon, Co Leitrim are seeking assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 40-year-old man.

Mr John McLoughlin has been missing from his home in Leitrim Village since 9am on Sunday December 19th 2004.

Mr McLoughlin is described as being 5'9" of fair complexion with receeding fair hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jumper, dark grey trousers and brown boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the gardaí at Carrick-On-Shannon on 071-9650517.

Meanwhile, Gardaí from Swords are appealing for information to help locate two children who are subject of District Court proceedings.

Two year old Ali Alexsandra Hassan and his brother one year old Mohamed Rami Hassan with an address in Swords have not been seen by their mother for almost two weeks.

Gardaí have carried out extensive enquiries and believe the children may be with a family in the Clonskeagh area.
