A man is recovering in hospital after being involved in a stabbing incident in Carlow.
The victim, who was in his 50s, was taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he is being treated for his injuries.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardai are currently investigating the incident.
