Gardaí at Pearse Street are investigating a fatal collision in which an 82-year-old pedestrian was killed yesterday.
The woman was injured when she was struck by a car at Sandwich Upper, Dublin 2 shortly after midday.
She was removed to St James's Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
