Ms Saulite (28) was shot dead in the hallway of her home on November 19th in a suspected contract killing.

Two men, both from Lebanon and in their 20s, were arrested earlier this month in connection with the murder. Both were freed without charge.

Meanwhile, Ms Saulite's former partner was jailed this morning for two years for the abduction of their children.

Hassan Hassan (38), pleaded guilty to two counts of abducting his children in December 2004.

They were aged two and 17 months at the time they were sent to Syria. They were not returned to Ireland until September 2005.

At Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, Judge Michael White ordered that the two-year sentence be served consecutively with a four-year sentence Hassan received in March 2006 for handling stolen vehicles.
