Galway United 0 Dundalk 1:In a lively encounter Dundalk denied Galway United in tonight's only Premier Division game at Terryland Park where Ross Gaynor scored just after the hour mark.
Gaynor was busy all evening and almost set up Stephen Maher for the opener midway through the first half, though the latter headed wide.
In the 55th minute Barry Ryan fouled Neale Fenn in the area but the Galway keeper denied the striker’s resultant spot-kick with an excellent save.
Minuted later Gaynor pounced to ensure Dundalk’s win
