Tbilisi - Georgia said yesterday that Russia was bombing its territory in an act of "undisguised aggression" but Moscow denied its air strikes aimed at Chechen rebels had landed across the border on its southern neighbour.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry issued a statement demanding an end to the strikes and violations of its airspace, which it said continued for a second day.
