Senior executives from Global Crossing, WorldCom and Qwest Communications will testify before the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation next week.
Chief executive officer of Global Crossing Mr John Legere, along with WorldCom CEO Mr John Sidgmore, and Mr Afshin Mohebbi, president and chief operating officer of Qwest will appear before the panel on Tuesday.
The officials will discuss the current state of the telecommunications industry and how the industry can move forward in a constructive manner to regain its financial health and restore confidence in the marketplace.
