Forget the local dinner dance - the corporate entertainment for high-fliers this spring is the Wild Geese Ball in Paris in aid of the Ireland Fund of France. Tony and Chryss O'Reilly will be the hosts for the seventh annual gala dinner which will take place in the Pavillion d'Armenonville in the exclusive 16th arrondissement on March 6th - the eve of the France/Ireland rugby international.

It appears there will be several things to toast - the state-of-the-art new rugby stadium in Paris, the launch of the first four stages of the Tour de France in Ireland (an idea which was first plotted at the Ireland Fund's Dublin ball three years ago) and maybe even an Irish win the next day.
