The Gaelic Players Association will reward this season's two best players with a car after securing a sponsorship deal with SEAT today.
Recipients of the GPA Footballer and Hurler of the Year will win a €19,000 SEAT Leon. The association has been given a SEAT Alhambra for official use.
The €250,000 deal is a significant benchmark for the player’s group as the GAA offer no such rewards to players.
The players themselves will choose the winners at an awards ceremony in November.
