London - The leader of the British Conservative Party, Mr William Hague, reshuffled his political team yesterday to fill the job vacated by the resignation last week of the shadow leader of the house, Sir George Young.
The shadow trade and industry secretary, Ms Angela Browning, was moved into Sir George's position. Mr David Heathcoat-Amory, shadow chief secretary to the Treasury, took Ms Browning's former job. Mr Oliver Letwin filled the gap left by Mr Heathcoat-Amory.
