London - The British pop pin-up Robbie Williams said yesterday he could only ever be friends with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell even though she was "sexy" and "beautiful".
Britain's tabloid newspapers have run reams of photographs of the pair holidaying in the south of France, creating a flurry of speculation about a romance. "It's very difficult because she's beautiful, fantastic personality, sexy, but she's just my mate," Williams told the Radio Times magazine.
