A WOMAN who had red paint poured over her during a dispute with a neighbour was back in court yesterday alleging that her neighbour was still harassing her.
Ms Sharon Kelly (28) of Golden Lane, Dublin 8, had already pleaded guilty to assaulting Ms Therese Kehoe by pouring red paint over her on the night of June 10th last.
In Kilmainham District Court yesterday, Ms Kehoe said the bail bond Ms Kelly has signed gave her no protection. She told the court she had been woken up on June 29th by Ms Kelly kicking at her front door before she broke two of her pot plants. She said she was "in fear of my life and my son's life."
Judge Gillian Hussey said the case would have to go back to Judge Hammill. "I had the radio on in my car, and I heard both you and Ms Kelly on the radio. I'll have to discharge myself from this case - I know far too much about it. It's turned into trial by radio."
Garda Pascal Walsh said he would see if he could bring the case before Judge Hammill earlier than July 23rd.
