Natural daylight is an important “clock setter” for our bodies, so what happens if you are cooped up inside all day?
A recent study of office workers showed that workers in windowless environments had poorer ratings of wellbeing and more sleep problems than workers who had windows at their workplace.
Changing the building where you work is probably not a practical option, but it might be worth seeing if you can position yourself closer to a window if possible, and make sure you get outside to get exposure to natural daylight during breaks.
