It is so easy to run out the door in the morning with a high-sugar snack bar in your hand or with no breakfast at all. But taking a few minutes to plan your breakfast the night before can make a big difference to how you start your day.

Try a make-ahead healthy breakfast so you will have no excuse to hurry out the door on an empty stomach, no matter how late you are.

Chia seed pudding and porridge can be thrown together, left in the fridge overnight and topped with fruit in the morning. Try this recipe for overnight chia seed pudding by Jamie Oliver.
