Racing: Wishwillow Lord ran out a convincing winner of the UL Bohemians Raceday Hurdle at Limerick - in which 2005 John Smith's Grand National winner Hedgehunter made a satisfactory return from injury.
The 13-2 winner was always to the fore in the hands of Denis O'Regan and moved into a definite advantage on the long run to the penultimate flight.
Despite stepping at that obstacle, O'Regan soon had his mount back on an even keel and drew away from 7-2 favourite Old Flame to record a five-length victory.
Hedgehunter was always towards the rear in the two-mile event and Ruby Walsh was not hard on the Willie Mullins-trained 11-year-old when it became clear he would not be involved in the finish.
Having stayed on to pass some beaten rivals late in the day, Walsh's mount eventually came home in ninth place.
VC Bet and Coral were not disappointed by Hedgehunter's preparatory spin ahead of Aintree's four-and-a-half-mile marathon on April 14 and left him unchanged at 14-1.
