Lebanon's Hizbullah group said today it was awaiting official word on details of a prisoner swap plan approved by Israel.
But it indicated it would rejectany deal that did not include all Lebanese detainees
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, his political prestige on the line, yesterday narrowly pushed through his cabinet the German-brokered deal to swap an Israeli businessman and the bodies of three soldiers for more than 400 jailed Palestinians and Lebanese prisoners.
But in a condition that could derail the deal, the cabinetappeared to rule out the release of Samir Qantar, a Lebaneseheld since 1979 for involvement in an attack in which Israelis were killed.
