Accommodation provider Hostelworld has agreed a deal with Ryanair to provide hostel, B&B and guesthouse packages to passengers of the airline.

The new five-year deal between the two companies means Ryanair passengers will have access to Hostelworld's properties through the airline's website.

Hostelworld has over 13,000 properties in 166 countries worldwide, with 5,500 properties throughout Europe.

Ray Nolan, chief executive of Hostelworld.com, said the company had booked accommodation worth more than €28 million across Europe since 2003.
