A human leg has been found on a Dublin beach.
Gardaí confirmed the limb was found this morning on Dollymount Strand by a walker.
The leg, which may have been severed by a passing ship in the bay, is believed to belong to a woman.
As it had not been badly decomposed, it is not suspected to have been in the water for a long period of time.
It is the second limb to be found on Dollymount Strand in recent times.
