Soccer:AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed they are in talks with Barcelona with a view to bringing Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the San Siro.

“Negotiations will continue on Thursday. At noon I have an appointment with the president of Barcelona. The negotiations are very complex but the relationship with (Barcelona President) Sandro Rosell is really good and he is very nice,” said Galliani.

“Barca are willing to sell or loan the player, he is willing to come to Milan but we are talking about a mountain of money in the middle of a crisis.”

Ibrahimovic (28) signed for Barcelona from AC Milan rivals Inter last summer in a deal worth €42 million which saw Samuel Eto’o travel in the opposite direction to Italy.

Despite arriving at the Nou Camp with a distinguished goal-scoring record Ibrahamovic failed to settle properly, but managed to score 21 goals in 41 appearances last season.

Ibrahimovic added to the transfer speculation by admitting he has not spoken to Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola for six months.

“I do not know the reason for this but there are certainly problems. As for Milan, for now, I do not know anything about a possible move, so I will remain a Barcelona player but I would like to play alongside a player such as Ronaldinho,” said Ibrahimovic.

Guardiola remained tight-lipped about the problems, saying, “We have no problem of communication."

“For the good of the club it's best not to say anything. There's always a reason but I'm not going to explain it now. I'm very communicative. When it's the right time I'll give my opinion. If after August 31st he's still a Barcelona player I will treat him as such.”
