The youth (17) has been charged with assault causing harm to the woman and criminal damage to the bus, at Green Road, Blanchardstown, on February 3rd last year.

The Children's Court is to decide whether the case should be retained there or instead be sent forward to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, which, on conviction, can impose lengthier sentences.

Apartment claim against Gubay

Former rally driver Rosemary Smith has brought High Court proceedings claiming that a 25sq m studio apartment, with no storage facilities, offered to her by businessman Albert Gubay, is too small for life-long habitation. She says it breaches their agreement under which she agreed to vacate her family home in Sandyford in exchange for rent-free accommodation for the rest of her life.

Ms Smith (70) claims Mr Gubay and his company, Mardown Ltd, have failed to comply with the terms of an agreement between them under which she was to be provided with a rent-free studio apartment at Blackglen Road, Sandyford.

The agreement was based on Ms Smith vacating her family home on Blackglen Road where Mr Gubay built a fitness centre.

Mr Gubay, Santon, Isle of Man, and Mardown Ltd deny Ms Smith's claim for specific performance of an agreement which arose out of separate High Court proceedings between the two which were settled in February 2007.
