French prop Christian Califano will miss the Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham on April 7th due to a groin injury, his club side Stade Toulousain said today.
Club physiotherapist Christophe Foucaud said Califono had complained of pains in his groin after returning on Thursday from a two-day training camp with the French international squad to prepare for the England match.
Tests on Friday had shown "the beginning of a groin problem which needs at least three weeks to a month of rest," Foucaud said.
Califano will be restricted to stretching and massage during that time but has a chance of playing in his club's final league matches of the season. AFP
