Liam Miller is in danger of missing the Republic of Ireland's friendly international with Canada at Lansdowne Road on Tuesday after picking up a hamstring injury in training today.
The Celtic star was expected to make his senior debut in the game but manager Brian Kerr revealed that the Corkman picked up the injury during this morning's session in Malahide.
Elsewhere, Nottinhgam Forest defender John Thompson has been drafted into the squad as cover following the recent withdrawal of Steve Finnan, Gary Breen and Andy O'Brien through injury. Richard Dunne was added to the squad yesterday.
Kerr confirmed that Thompson's clubmate Andy Reid will get a run out at some stage in Tuesday's game and said Cardiff City midfielder Graham Kavanagh would start against the Canadians.
Goalkeepers Shay Given and Nicky Colgan and Manchester City defender Dunne sat out today's training but are expected to be fit for the match.
