The Dublin City Coroner has reopened the inquest into the deaths of six people who died in the 1974 Monaghan bombing.

The Dublin City Coroner has reopened the inquest into the deaths of six people who died in the 1974 Monaghan bombing.

The Coroner had already opened the inquest into the 26 people killed in the Dublin bombings on the same day.

Coroner Brian Farrell heard that "a substantial amount of information" had come forward from gadraí and the Justice for the Forgotten Committee that could shed more light on the bombings.

The inquests have been adjourned for full hearings later this year, after the publication of Justice Henry Barron's report into the two bombings.
