BAGHDAD - Iraq raised more hopes yesterday that it would strike a deal with the UN to resume oil exports in return for badly needed food and medicine. The Information and Culture Minister, Mr Abdel Ghani Abdel Ghafour, said he hoped the next round of talks with UN officials, scheduled to start on Monday in New York, would lead to "positive results".
