A man in his 30s has died following a single vehicle collision in Co Cork early this morning.
The man was travelling east on the N25 Waterford to Cork road when his car went out of control and hit ditches on the Youghal bypass at about 7.15am.
The man was removed from the scene by the emergency services but died en route to Cork University Hospital.
Gardaí have closed the road and diversions have been put in place to allow a garda forensic crash investigator to examine the scene but the road was expected to re-open by lunchtime.
