The first female master of the National Maternity Hospital, Rhona Mahony, will be among the speakers at a conference on women in business to be held in Cork next month.

Dr Mahony will address the 30th annual Network Ireland national conference, which will be attended by more than 200 women.

This year's event is organised by Network Ireland president and founder of hospitality company EazyCity Julia Lynes.

“It was important for me we featured speakers across a wide range of sectors, all of whom are at the top of their professions. I know we are all going to get so much from the conference,” she said.
