Coach John Kirwan has recalled out-half Diego Dominguez to the Italy squad for the Six Nations Championship match with France on Sunday week.
Dominguez limped off just after half-time in last month's home defeat to Ireland and missed last week's 40-5 defeat to England.
Kirwan said then he had a knee ligament injury although Dominguez, the second highest Test points scorer of all time, was fit enough to play for his French club Stade Francais.
