Stand-in Leinster captain Bernard Jackman has called for the European champions to "push on" against Glasgow on Thursday after last week’s win over Cardiff left them top of the table with at least a game in hand on those in the chasing pack.
Jackman will take to the field tomorrow as part of a formidable and experienced frontrow comprising of Mike Ross and South African CJ van der Linde, but elsewhere there are home debuts for youngsters Eoin O'Malley and Paul Ryan.
Lock Malcolm O’Kelly will make his 180th appearance in a Leinster jersey, alongside Devin Toner in the secondrow, while Ryan joins Kevin McLaughlin and Stephen Keogh in the backrow.
O'Malley continues his centre partnership with Fergus McFadden, while Paul O'Donohoe comes in at scrumhalf alongside Shaun Berne who continues at outhalf.
"We're exactly where we want to be at the top of the Magners League and we've got to push on from here,” said Jackman today after praising the performance against the Blues.
"Glasgow are a side who always put it up to you. Scottish sides sometimes don't get the respect that they deserve, yet themselves and Edinburgh are right up on the top end of the Magners League table, but we know all about the threats that they can pose.
Jackman has also called for no excuses at the breakdown after new laws troubled Ireland in their match against Wales last week.
"How we interpret the laws will be a factor and we have done a lot of work on this area of the game. The teams that adapt quicker (to the laws) will have more success so they're here to stay until the Rugby World Cup at least and we just have to get on with it.
He added: "It is a huge honour to be asked to lead the team out again, but the mindset from our point of view is that we must back up our recent wins and everyone who is selected has an opportunity to stake a claim on a Leinster shirt."
