Swede Fredrik Jacobson won his second European tour title of the season today, pipping Welsh pair Bradley Dredge and Jamie Donaldson and also Londoner Brian Davis for the Algarve Portuguese Open at Vale do Lobo.
Jacobson, who had his first victory in Hong Kong in December, was playing his first tournament after 10 weeks off resting an injured left wrist.
He chipped in three times in a closing 72 for a five-under-par total of 283 - the last of them for eagle at the long 17th - and so collected the £142,541 first prize to move to fifth on the European Order of Merit.
Dredge and Donaldson had set the target on four under with 68s and Davis matched that with a 72. Long-time leader Greg Owen bogeyed the last to finish two behind.
